PCC Act

Ontario’s Career Colleges are governed by the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 and two sets of regulations.

Regulation 414/06

This regulation, under the PCC Act, 2005, deals primarily with the Training Completion Assurance Fund and other financial matters.

Regulation 415/06

This regulation, under the PCC Act, 2005, covers areas including registration, advertising, admissions requirements, protection of student interests, and more.

Career Colleges Ontario (CCO) is a not-for-profit association that was established in 1973 to advocate on behalf of private career colleges in the province. The association’s purpose is to help governments, key decision makers and the public understand the critical role its members and their students play in supporting Ontario’s post-secondary education system and improving the province’s economic well-being. CCO currently has a membership of over 240 career colleges across the province.

National Association of Career Colleges

NACC has been the national voice of career colleges since 1896. CCO members gain membership with NACC and access to their benefits and services.
